Niki is one of the X Factor success stories, having carved an enviable career in musical theatre, playing the lead in Bill Kenwright's hit West End production of Blood Brothers. Niki is currently engaged in a national tour of the show.

However she has not forgotten her musical roots and October 19th sees the release of her latest single, Walk in the Silence: watch the video on Youtube.

Niki first started singing at the age of thirteen and within three years, she was signed to Libedo Records; an offshoot of Record Label PWL. touring as solo singer with pop stars, Sonia, Lonnie Gordon, Big Fun and Yell.

She took a break from the music industry to get married and raise two children before auditioning for XFactor in 2007 when she made it to the show's semi-final.

Niki sailed through the auditions with positive comment's from all 4 Judges about her rendition of "I Will Always Love You" Then moving onto bootcamp until finally she was chosen to be in the top 12 finalist's over 25-category alongside the amazing ..Daniel De Bourg.. & Beverly Trottman, Niki went onto perform Nothing Compares To You, My Heart Will Go On, All That Jazz, Because Of You, Hot Stuff, Power Of Love, Total Eclipse Of The Heart, Fields of Gold, And then competing in the semi-final with Songbird & One Moment In Time.

Niki was the first out of the four finalists to record and video her version of 'When You Believe' the winning single for the winner of X Factor 2007. Simon Cowell revealed on an exclusive interview with GMTV that he thought Niki's version of "When You Believe" was the best out of all finalists, A clip of the song was put on her official website www.Niki-Evans.com, where many X Factor fans agreed with Simon.

Niki released her first single "Love Me No More" in 2008, Which did exceptionally well on the Amazon chart, reaching the top 5. This was followed by "I feel the love" in September 2009 from her album, "By Request".The album comprised of covers from X Factor and some songs from Blood Brothers. It received rave reviews from X Factor fans and critics in the UK.

Niki's second album is now in progress. It will be country rock influenced and include some of her own songs.
